EMEC to host session on wave and tidal technologies

EMEC will host a session at the Atlantic Stakeholder Conference in Porto, Portugal, where information regarding the development of new wave and tidal technologies will be shared and discussed.

The session will identify key issues of common interest across marine energy test sites, and share insights and lessons learned to speed up the development of wave and tidal technologies.

Other workshops are going to explore future plans in the marine renewable energy sector to help meet climate change adaptation and mitigation needs, environmental methodologies and data sharing, and common operating procedures.

Speakers at the conference, among others, include Oliver Wragg, EMEC’S Commercial Director, Ana Brito e Melo, Executive Director at WavEC and Joaquín Hernández-Brito, Manager at the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN).
