Edinburgh University seeks marine energy research associate

The Innovation and Policy Group of the Institute for Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh is looking to appoint a research associate who will participate in a number of marine energy projects.

The main responsibilities for the job include working on a variety of European Commission and Wave Energy Scotland funded marine energy projects.

The scope of work includes undertaking technology analysis within the different work packages of OPERA, Hi-Drive, Waveboost, TIPA, MARINET2 and Clearwater projects, according to the University.

The analyses could consist of resource assessment, logistics analysis, road mapping work, techno-economic analysis (LCOE) and concept engineering.

Additionally, this role will carry out general day to day tasks including consultation work on national and international projects, and report writing.
