Alongside the agreement, the company will showcase its wave energy generation model in New Delhi, demonstrating how its patented onshore technology harnesses ocean waves to produce electricity.

According to Eco Wave Power, the collaboration with the Indian company aims to explore the integration of wave energy into India’s renewable energy strategy.

“With a coastline of 7,516 km and over 250 million people living along the shore, India has a unique opportunity to place wave energy at the forefront of its renewable energy strategy,” said Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power.

The move comes as Eco Wave Power advances its international projects. In January, the company hired Portuguese firm MOQ Engineering to finalize design work and load calculations for its Porto wave energy project, which is scheduled to launch in 2026.

Eco Wave Power is also progressing on other wave energy ventures, including projects in Taiwan and the Port of Los Angeles. As it seeks to expand its presence in the wave energy market, the company said it expects to unveil additional international initiatives soon.
