ECA mine disposal ROVs for Lithuanian Navy

ECA Group will once again provide its K-STER ROV solution for sea mines clearance to the Lithuanian Navy.

ECA developed K-STER as an expendable mine disposal system in 2008.

The Lithuanian Navy also became one of the first navies equipped with this MIDS ROV back in 2009.

The Navy deployed the MIDS ROV during the Open spirit exercise in Lithuania in May 2019 to clear Baltic sea off World War 2 mines.

The K-STER solution kits out several navies worldwide.

The Belgian Navy and the Royal Netherlands Navy also recently selected this system.

The ROVs are part of the modernisation program of their MCM capabilities with delivery within the next 3 years.

In total, ECA Group MIDS ROV solutions equip 20 navies across the world.
