Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has signed a 21 month long contract for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Skandi Sotra.

DOF said on Thursday that the contract for the 2003-built vessel will start on Friday in direct continuation from its present contract in Australia. The vessel is of an MT 6000 design.

DOF ASA CEO, Mons S. Aase, said: “We are pleased to announce yet another long -term contract. So far in 2019 we have signed long-term contracts for work in Guyana, Saudi Arabia, Netherland, Malaysia, UK, Norway, New Zealand and now Australia.”

It is worth reminding that the Skandi Sotra in November 2017 won a 75-day contract in Australia with Chevron. The contract also included extension options and started in the fourth quarter of 2017.

According to information provided by VesselsValue, the Skandi Sotra has worked for Chevron from November 2017 until January 2018.
