DCN Diving Gets Dana Petroleum Contract

DCN Diving has received a contract from Dana Petroleum to carry out work offshore the Netherlands.

Under the contract DCN will execute the fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning of various tie-in spools and a flanged connector for Dana’s new DP-012 gas export pipeline.

The DP-012 gas export pipeline links the Dutch P15D and P11B (De Ruyter) platforms.

The scope of work involves diving, ROV and dredging support and should start in June this year, Patrick Feeleus, manager Offshore at DCN Diving, informed through social media.

The De Ruyter platform, operated by Dana Petroleum Netherlands, came on stream in September 2006. The development, which consists of a permanently manned platform and a Tanker
Mooring and Loading System (TMLS), is located in block P11b, some 60 kilometers North-West of Den Haag in a water depth of 34 meters.

The field has been developed by Dana Petroleum Netherlands (Dana NL) on behalf of the De Ruyter field owners, Dana NL and Energie Beheer Nederland.
