COSCO Delivers Bulk Carrier MV LIA to Greek Owner

On April 8, “MV LIA”, the 57,000DWT bulk carrier N232, was successfully delivered to the Greek owner Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd., whilst a signing ceremony was held at COSCO Guangdong Shipyard.

It is reported that N232 is the fifth of the 57,000DWT bulker series being built for this company. The first four ships are already in operation and in good condition. On the basis of their previous good cooperation, the company has signed another three new build contracts for 57,000DWT bulk carriers with COSCO Guangdong Shipyard in the second half of 2010. The keel has already been laid for one of them and the other two will have their steel cut in the second half of this year.
