Christiania Shipping concludes acquisition of stainless steel chemical carrier operator

Chemical ship-owning and chartering company Christiania Shipping has finalized the acquisition of NAVQUIM Holding, an owner and operator of stainless steel chemical carriers.

Christiania Shipping announced the acquisition of NAVQUIM Holding from Sogestran Shipping at the beginning of September 2024.

The transaction has now been completed, following which a fleet of stainless steel chemical carriers, contract partners, and technical know-how will be added to Christiania Shipping.

In total, the company’s fleet has 42 vessels on the water, out of which 29 chemical carriers and 13 LPG vessels, and several newbuilds on order.

Furthermore, the acquisition enables Christiania Shipping to increase its presence in Europe with offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Marbella, and Golf Juan.
