ZTTSC has been approved for near-term and long-term science-based targets, confirming that its targets meet the SBTi criteria and recommendations.

SBTi has assessed that ZTTSC’s near-term scope 1 and 2 targets align with a 1.5°C trajectory, and has also evaluated the company’s long-term scope 1, 2, and 3 targets to be consistent with SBTi’s 1.5°C mitigation pathways.

We are proud of this accomplishment and remain dedicated to positively impacting our planet, said ZTTSC in a social media post.

In May 2022, ZTTSC revealed its commitment to the SBTi, setting emissions reduction targets.

ZTTSC at the time said it had committed to the SBTi Net-Zero Standard, and pledged to establish a robust emissions reduction target aligned with the pace and scale required by climate science.

Speaking about recent news coming from the company, ZTTSC finished the installation and termination of the 155 kV submarine cable that connects the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm to the DolWin kappa offshore converter platform in Germany, this May.
