China to get LNG cargo from Qatar

Qatar, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Ras Laffan Port to China on Sunday.

The Duhail LNG tanker, with a capacity of 210,100 cubic meters, is expected to arrive at CNOOC’s Zhejiang LNG on October 14, according to shipping data.

Qatargas delivered the first cargo of LNG to the Zhejiang terminal in September of 2012. The company and CNOOC have an existing deal signed in 2008 for the supply of a total of 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
