China: Hantong Shipyard Launches Bulk Carrier HT57-109

Recently Hantong Shipyard successfully launched the 57.000 DWT Bulk Carrier (with the yard No. HT57-109) being built for HHI. The vessel is class approved by KR.

The keel laying ceremony for the vessel was carried out from the shipyard’s slipway No.1 in December 2011. The vessel is a new type of supramax bulk carrier optimised to burn less fuel oil.
