CH2M HILL Engineers awarded Alaska LNG job

CH2M HILL Engineers informed it has been awarded a contract for the Alaska LNG project to provide certain pre-FEED support services for the LNG marine facilities in the Nikiski area on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Alaska LNG project, being progressed by the state-supported Alaska Gasline Development and affiliates of BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and TransCanada, would include the Nikiski area export facilities, an 800-mile gas pipeline from the North Slope, a gas treatment plant and transmission lines connecting the project to gas producing fields.

CH2M HILL will provide support on the pre-FEED scope of services that include project controls, marine studies, logistics and construction planning, cost estimating and project scheduling.
