Business & Finance

This October, three energy industry and research associations will come together to host “energy3, Canada’s Energy Conference.”

energy3 is being developed and hosted through a partnership between Marine Renewables Canada (MRC), The Maritimes Energy Association (MEA), and the Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA).

The event will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from October 16-18, 2019. A three-day conference and trade exhibition is focused on Canada’s energy industry, putting the spotlight on our strengths, challenges and opportunities.

Recognizing the interconnectedness of the energy sector and the value of bringing together diverse perspectives from industry, government, researchers, and stakeholders, energy3 is designed to ignite important conversations, thought-provoking debates, and new collaborations and will provide a forum to discuss the future of Canada’s energy sector in the regional, national and global context – highlighting industry success stories, enabling research and development, and pathways for future growth.

energy3 will profile all segments of the energy industry in a more diverse context breaking down its underpinning complexity, providing clarity around potential opportunities while outlining associated economic and environmental benefits.

Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) is the country’s wave, tidal, offshore wind and river current association representing technology and project developers, utilities, researchers as well as firms in the marine and energy supply chain.
