Belgium books Yamal, Qatari LNG cargoes

The Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal in Belgium booked a couple of cargoes for end-October, early-November.

According to the shipping data, the first of the two cargoes is set to dock at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal on October 26. The cargo is being transported from the Novatek-led Yamal LNG project onboard the Arctic LNG carrier Eduart Toll capable of transporting up to 172,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.
The second cargo is set to be delivered on November 11, the data shows.
The cargo departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex on October 17, loaded onboard the 216,000-cbm Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Gharrafa.
The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
