The cargo was delivered onboard the Arctic LNG carrier Christophe de Margerie capable of transporting 172,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.

The cargo was delivered on October 5, and is the second similar delivery of the year, following the cargo delivered by Eduart Toll in April.

Bahía de Bizkaia Gas added that it expects to receive one more Yamal LNG cargo by the end of the year.

The $27 billion Yamal LNG project in the Arctic led by Novatek is currently producing chilled fuel from its first two liquefaction trains with a combined capacity of 11 million tonnes and plans on bringing the third train online by the end of the year.
