Woodside said on Thursday in its quarterly report that  Julimar Phase 2 has progressed FEED activities and awarded key execute phase contracts to OneSubsea Australia for the subsea hardware
and Diamond Offshore for drilling and rig services.

Woodside did not provide any additional information.

The second phase of the project will tie-back the Julimar field to the existing Brunello subsea infrastructure that is connected to the Wheatstone offshore platform.

The project will support the production of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone LNG export project. The onshore facility located west of Onslow includes two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million metric tons per annum and a domestic gas plant.
