A total of 11 vessels are set to transfer to Aurora Offshore as a part of its new collaboration with Sea1, which changed its name from Siem Offshore in May 2024, and Siem Oil Services Invest.

The company announced around a week ago that it had welcomed the first two vessels, anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels Siem Pearl and Siem Challenger.

Now, the takeover of the high-end subsea vessel Siem Stingray has been completed in Haugesund, Norway. Built in 2014, the vessel has a 250t AHC crane, a 1,300 m2 deck area, and offers accommodation for 110 people.

The management takeover was carried out in between work scopes that Siem Stingray is conducting as part of a long-term contract with Subsea7.
