Andritz Hydro records an increase in annual earnings

In 2014, Andritz Hydro has recorded an increase in EBITDA earnings of 0.2 percent, with a decrease in sales of 2.9 percent.

Sales have declined in 2014 for EUR 52.5 mln, which represents a decline of 2.9 percent when compared to 2013.

The order intake is EUR 48.7 mln lower in 2014 than in 2013, which amounts to 5.6 percent decline.

Workload was lower with order backlog of EUR 13.8 mln less in 2014, from EUR 3.722.400 in 2013 to EUR 3.708.600, which represents a decline of 1.9 percent.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) is at EUR 177.2 mln in 2014 represent an increase of 0.2 percent when compared to the year earlier.

In 2014, CAPEX has decreased for EUR 5.1 mln, from EUR 44.5 mln in 2013 to 39.4 mln, which represents a decrease of 11.4 percent.

The number of employees in 2014 has been increased to 8 339, which represents an increase of 894 people.
