Another gig with Peterson for Havila PSV

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has signed a contract with Peterson Den Helder for a platform supply vessel (PSV) from its fleet.

As disclosed, the contract for the PSV Havila Borg will be in direct continuation of an existing contract. It encompasses a firm period of three wells estimated to last 215 days, with optional periods for five wells, each expected to last 65 days.

The 2009-built Havila Borg is of a Havyard 832 design. The 3,787.4 DWT vessel can accommodate 23 people.

Peterson previously hired Havila Borg in August 2024, to work on two wells for an estimated 200 days, with optional periods for eight wells, each envisaged to last 65 days.
