Norwegian vessel owner Havila Shipping has found work for one of its platform supply vessels.

Havila Shipping said on Wednesday that the Swiss-based offshore services provider Allseas hired the company’s Havila Crusader PSV.

According to the company, the contract is for a firm period of ten months with optional periods of up to seven months.

Havila added that the contract would begin during the summer of 2018 while the operational area would be the Baltic Sea.

According to the latest AIS data provided by VesselsValue, the Havila Crusader is currently located off the coast of Scotland.

Havila Crusader is an 85m long PSV of VS 485 CD design. It was built in Hellesøy Verft shipyard in Kvinnherad, Norway in 2010, and delivered to the company in December that same year.

As for previous contracts, the vessel worked on a two-year deal with Premier Oil which ended on June 27, 2017. Following the deal, the Havila Crusader worked only on short spot contracts.
