The Jette field is located in the water depth of 127 meters, around six kilometers south of the Jotun field.

Jette was proven in 2009, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2012. The field was developed using a subsea template with two production wells tied to the Jotun A facility. Production ceased in December 2016.

The work of removing the facilities from the Jette field is planned to start in summer 2018 and will continue in 2019 and 2020, after the wells have been permanently plugged, PSA noted.

We have granted Aker BP the removal consent that the company applied for,” said PSA.
