Venko Returns to UK Offshore Substation

Venko Offshore, a Dutch company providing industrial coatings, has recently secured repeat business for maintenance and integrity services for an undisclosed blue chip client.

This latest contract includes corrosion protection and scaffolding access work on the client’s offshore substation in the United Kingdom.

Fraser Coull, UK Director for Venko Offshore, said: “Venko was contracted back in 2016 for the remedial coating repairs and scaffolding access for this particular asset during the hook up and commissioning phase so it is always satisfying when a Client returns with repeat business. In August, Venko Offshore secured an offshore wind farm framework agreement for maintenance and integrity services, which included detailed condition surveys to all ageing offshore assets, technical and logistical support, materials supply and coating repairs to fenders and safe access areas.
