Detained Taiwanese fishing vessel to return home

A Taiwanese sport fishing vessel that was detained by Japan for allegedly encroaching in Japanese waters will return home with a crew member Saturday, but the ship’s skipper will remain in Japanese custody for a little while longer.
Lin Chin-sung, the ship’s owner, said Friday that he was notified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier in the day that the vessel and crew member Liu Ming-ching will return home first, but that the skipper, Wang Wei-hsin, will have to wait at least another six days before being released.
