Qatari LNG heading for South Hook

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is awaiting more cargo loaded at the Ras Laffan port in Qatar.

The Al Samriya LNG carrier, with a capacity of 263,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive at the South Hook terminal on August 21, according to the Milford Haven Port Authority website.

Owned by Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil and Total, South Hook LNG terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year, providing sustained supply of gas to the UK’s national transmission system.
