Japan: Tokyo Gas October Sales Down 0.6 Pct

Total gas sales volume by Tokyo Gas for the month of October 2013 came to about 1,022.859 million m3, down 0.6% from October 2012.

In the residential sector, volume totaled 165.274 million m3, up 7.7% from October 2012, while in the business sector, volume totaled 194.365 million m3, almost the same as October 2012 (down 0.8%).

In the industrial sector, volume totaled 485.323 million m3, down 4.1% from October 2012.

Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 177.897 million m3, up 2.8% from October 2012, due to the increased demand of the other companies.
