South Korea: KOGAS Aug LNG Sales Up

KOGAS, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its LNG sales volume totaled 2.51 million tons in August, a 17.9 percent rise compared to the same month last year.

The company previously reported that it had sold 20.6 million tons in the first half of this year, a 5.3 percent rise compared to the same period in 2012.

KOGAS expects to import 37.90 million tons of LNG in 2013.
