Under the agreement, signed in November 2024, AOS is said to offer FORCE Technology’s pipeline integrity management solutions, including advanced non-destructive testing (ANDT).

According to FORCE Technology, these tools offer high-resolution insights into subsea asset integrity, helping operators identify vulnerabilities before they lead to costly failures or environmental incidents.

The collaboration also incorporates FORCE Technology’s FiGS (Field Gradient Sensor) technology, which enables precise, non-contact assessments of subsea cathodic protection systems, the company noted. AOS plans to provide early corrosion detection and guidance for repairs or replacements with this tool.

“By introducing this technology, we can overcome issues that previously relied on older, slower methods, enabling our clients to reduce survey time while achieving superior data accuracy and insights. This partnership will empower our clients to tackle regional challenges more efficiently, ultimately enhancing project outcomes and overall asset integrity,” said Thomas Saetre, AOS Offshore Business Development Manager.

“We believe the new partnership will enhance both the knowledge base and demand for advanced subsea inspection and monitoring services among clients across the APAC region. Our collaboration addresses the growing demand for such technology in this area, allowing FORCE Technology and AOS to offer more innovative and efficient solutions to existing and future clients.”

According to FORCE Technology, the company aims to apply its expertise to the challenges of the APAC region, where aging infrastructure and harsh environmental conditions demand advanced solutions.

Jarle Zetterstrøm, Sales Manager for Integrity Management & Monitoring at FORCE Technology, added: “Partnerships like the one we’ve formed with AOS are essential for expanding our reach by being present in the region and delivering exceptional service to local markets. By collaborating with a trusted, expert partner, we can provide advanced inspection solutions tailored to the specific needs of customers in Australia and the surrounding region.”

FORCE Technology’s Vice President, Skule Edvard Smørgrav, emphasized the value of local collaborations: “Having local partners in Southeast Asia and Australia is essential for us. They act as our feet on the ground and a local contact point for clients. Partnerships like these bring valuable regional knowledge and connections, ensuring we operate effectively and appropriately for each market.”

Smørgrav concluded: “We’re looking forward to developing our presence in Australia with AOS Offshore and helping their customers to get the advanced inspection data they need easily, and cost effectively.”
