For the Cortia Submarine Cable Project, ZTT delivered 36 kV submarine power cables on behalf of HEP-Operator distribucijskog sustava (HEP ODS), part of Croatia’s national power company Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP Group).

According to ZTT, the 65.78-kilometer, 42 kV submarine cable project interconnects 20 islands in the Adriatic Sea, marking a transformative milestone in Croatia’s energy infrastructure as it combines historical significance with technical excellence and ESG principles.

The cable complies with the stringent IEC63026 standard, while rigorous quality control and close collaboration with HEP ensured full compliance during factory acceptance tests (FAT), guaranteeing long-term operational reliability, the company said.
