According to Imenco, Petrone’s career includes over 20 years of experience in the offshore and subsea industries, and senior positions at Schlumberger, Cameron, and OneSubsea, where he specialized in subsea production optimization, asset integrity management, and team leadership across Europe, the Middle East, Brazil, and the United States.

His academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Oil & Gas Management from Robert Gordon University and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Italy’s Università degli Studi di L’Aquila, the company noted.

Petrone commented: “Imenco’s growth over the past decade has been remarkable. I look forward to contributing to its ongoing success by building on synergies across the group and exploring new opportunities in our markets.”

The leadership transition will involve a six-month handover period, with Buchan and Petrone collaborating from Imenco’s Aberdeen office to ensure a seamless changeover, the company noted.

In March this year, Imenco UK was among seven companies from northern Scotland and Orkney was selected for the inaugural Fit For Offshore Renewables (F4OR) program in the region.
