Qatari LNG Heads to South Korea

Pyeongtaek LNG

South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get a liquefied natural gas cargo on April 17, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being carried by the 214,198 cbm Al Kharsaah, and it is sailing from Qatar’s Ras Laffan to the Pyeongtaek LNG terminal.

South Korea’s Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is the country’s first LNG import terminal and it is operated by KOGAS.
