ZTT completes Gode Wind 3 submarine cable work offshore Germany

Business Developments & Projects

ZTT Submarine Cable & System has finished the installation and termination of the 155 kV submarine cable connecting the Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm to the DolWin kappa offshore converter platform in Germany.

In 2020, TenneT contracted ZTT Submarine Cable & System to link the 253 MW offshore wind farm to the DolWin kappa converter platform in the North Sea.

The cable system was produced at ZTT’s manufacturing base in Nantong, China, and then transported to Europe. The cable-laying operations were carried out by the subcontractor Asso.subsea from Greece.
