I started my career at a Belgian shipyard 26 years ago and have loved the international maritime industry ever since. By closing contracts and executing projects for almost any type of inland and oceangoing vessel in over 60 countries, I’ve built up my technical and commercial knowledge over the years. I believe sustainable innovation is key to resolve the challenges that the industry is facing.

I’ve been dedicated to contributing to a sustainable blue economy since 2020. First as Managing Director for the Sea Ranger Service and currently as Sustainability & Innovation Director for PortXL. Being President of WISTA The Netherlands enables me to be an effective advocate for the large role that women can play in the transition.

I’m proud to contribute to minimizing the existing gender leadership gap in the maritime, trading and logistic sectors and the professional development of women.
