Iran: Gas Condensate Exports Reach USD 853 Million

 

More than 1 million tons of gas condensate worth $853 million have been exported from Pars Special Energy Economic Zone (PSEEZ) custom administration during the last month of the current Iranian calendar year (started on January 21), the director of PSEEZ’s custom administration, Mr. Pourheydar announced here.

The figures show 158% increase in terms of weight and 216% rise in value compared with the same period last year.

The statistics also show that Iran imported 12.9 thousand tons of goods worth $73.6 million through the PSEEZ’s customs administration during the last month of the current Iranian calendar year.

“About 882.4 thousand tons of goods worth $94.9 million have been shipped inside the country”, he declared.

This figures show a 609% increase in terms of weight and 99% rise in value in comparison to the same period last year.

Iran exported 1.2 million tons of non-oil goods produced in the PSEEZ worth $677.6 million, which shows a 122% increase in terms of value and 116% rise in weight compared with the same period last year.

He stated that during the aforementioned period more than 2.2 million tons of goods including light and heavy polyethylene, gas condensate, propane, butane, benzene and other goods worth $1.5 billion have been exported from the zone. This figures show a 134% increase in terms of weight and 166% rise in value in comparison to the same period last year.
