The order was received at the beginning of 2023 on behalf of a European shipowner.

GTT will design the tanks of the two vessels, and each will offer a total cargo capacity of 174,000 m3 and will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.

The delivery of the vessels is scheduled between the third and fourth quarters of 2026.

A few days earlier, HSHI ordered the tank design of two LNGCs on behalf of a Middle Eastern shipowner.

2023 has started busy for GTT, with orders arriving from companies such as HSHI, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry & Co (DSIC), and Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
