U.S. LNG exports edge up on week

Liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S. increased over the last week, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

EIA stated in its weekly report that twelve LNG vessels, seven from Sabine Pass, two from Corpus Christi, two from Cove Point, and one from Freeport LNG departed from the United States between September 12 and September 18.

The twelve vessels held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 42 bcf.

It is worth noting that four vessels, two at Sabine Pass, one at Corpus Christi, and one at Cove Point terminals, were loading on Wednesday, September 18.
