Citing industry sources, Reuters reported on Wednesday that the cargoes were set for loading over August 14-16 and September 1-4 on a free-on-board basis.

Reuters also stated that the tender was scheduled to close on Wednesday, July 25.

The Ichthys project has the production capacity of approximately 8.9 million tons of LNG and approximately 1.65 million tons of LPG per year, along with approximately 100,000 barrels of condensate per day.

First cargo left the facility in October last year. About 70 percent of the LNG produced by the export project will be supplied to Japanese customers.

The project is a joint venture between Inpex, major partner Total, Taiwan’s CPC Corporation and the Australian subsidiaries of Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Kansai Electric, Chubu Electric Power and Toho Gas.
