H-Energy is setting up an LNG regasification project to be implemented in 2 phases.

The first phase will consist of a jetty-based FSRU with a 4 mtpa capacity, which is expected to start in the third quarter of 2018.

The FSRU GDF Suez Cape Ann has a storage capacity of 145,000 cbm of LNG and maximum send-out capacity of 750 million mmscf/d and is capable of reloading LNG to other vessels, H-Energy noted.

The company signed a deal with Engie to charter its FSRU for a minimum period of 5 years and has also awarded the EPCM contract to Engineers India (EIL) for constructing 60 km tie-in pipeline from Jaigarh port to Dabhol.

H-Energy added that a land-based regasification terminal with an 8 mmtpa capacity has been planned for the second phase of the project.
