Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal operated by Fluxys is scheduled to receive a cargo of Qatari LNG mid-March.

Shipping data shows that the 2005-built carrier, Maran Gas Asclepius with the capacity to transport 145,700-cbm, loaded a cargo at Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex on March 4, and has set course for Belgium.

The vessel is scheduled to dock at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal on March 20, the data shows.

Fluxys, the operator of the LNG terminal in the port of Zeebrugge noted in February that the facility received 17 cargoes in total in 2017, which compared to 30 cargoes received in 2016.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
