Regas capacity offered at Dunkirk LNG

France’s Dunkerque LNG has offered up to three billion cubic metres of annual regasification capacity for a period 18 years at its Dunkirk LNG import terminal.

Dunkerque LNG, the terminal operator owned 65 percent by EDF, said in a notice it offers to the market the opportunity to subscribe regasification capacity from 1 st January 2019 on a ship-or-pay basis.

Subscribers will get firm rights to slots, LNG storage and send-out capacity, and a right to reload LNG, it said.

The Dunkirk LNG terminal with a regasification capacity of 13 billion cubic meters per year started commercial operations on January 1 last year.

The terminal’s remaining 10 bcm per year capacity has already been booked.
