Qatar ships LNG cargo to Belgium

Qatar’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export complex in Ras Laffan dispatched a cargo to Belgium. 

According to the shipping data, Al Thakhira LNG carrier capable of transporting 145,700 cubic meters, set off from Qatar on January 18.

The destination of the vessel is the Fluxys-operated liquefied natural gas terminal in the Belgian port of Zeebrugge.

Shipping data shows that the vessel is scheduled to arrive on February 2 at the terminal that has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.

The AIS data provided by VesselsValue shows the vessel is currently sailing int he Red Sea heading for the Suez Canal.
