India’s gas utility GAIL has reportedly closed a tender seeking two cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for delivery between November and January.

The tender is valid until November 15, Reuters reported on Tuesday citing traders.

The discharge period for the cargoes is between November 20-December 31 for the first and January 10-31 for the second shipment, the report said.

State-owned GAIL imports LNG via the Dabhol and Dahej terminal, where it has capacity rights. GAIL has also signed a non-binding deal to take capacity at the proposed Dhamra LNG terminal.
