India’s gas utility GAIL has reportedly issued a tender seeking four cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for delivery across November and December.

The first delivery is due November 10-30, with the remainder split between the first and the second half of December, Reuters reported on Friday citing traders.

The tender closes on October 3, according to the news agency.

Gail imported 55 LNG cargoes, equivalent to approximately 3.5 MMTPA of LNG, during the 2016-17 financial year from various international sources on short-term and spot basis, the company said in its annual report.

The state-owned utility imports LNG via the Dabhol and Dahej terminal, where it has capacity rights. It has also signed a non-binding deal to take capacity at the proposed Dhamra LNG terminal.
