Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge LNG terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas towards the end of November.

According to the shipping data, the 154,880 cbm LNG carrier Yenisei River departed Qatar’s Ras Laffan complex on November 8.

The vessel built in 2013 by Hyundai Heavy Industries is expected to dock at Zeebrugge’s jetty on November 26.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Earlier this week, Fluxys conducted first operational tests as part of the commissioning process of the second LNG jetty at its terminal in the outer port of Zeebrugge.

The jetty is expected to be operational by the end of this year, will be able to accommodate both small and large LNG carriers, with capacities ranging from 2,000 cbm to 217,000 cbm of the chilled fuel.
