Fluxys, the owner of a 35.76 per cent stake in Dunkerque LNG, says European LNG imports have witnessed a strong increase in recent years. The company expects them to continue to rise as gas will be key in the energy transition. Moreover, North-Western Europe will be the destination of choice thanks to its liquid and strongly interconnected markets.

Due to its location, the facility stands out as one of the most attractive terminals in Europe.

In light of the limited availability of regasification capacity, Dunkerque LNG is launching a Call for Market Interest process. The process is offering the opportunity to book up to 3.5 billion cubic meters per annum of regasification capacity. The minimum is three years between 2023-2036.
