The UK’s largest LNG terminal, South Hook, located in the Port of Milford Haven, is expected to receive another cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar.

The Q-Max LNG tanker Rasheeda, with a capacity of 266,000 cbm, is scheduled to dock at South Hook LNG jetty on June 23, port data says.

This is the second Qatari shipment to be delivered to South Hook in the next seven days. The Q-Max LNG tanker Aamira, which is currently sailing offshore Portugal, is due to arrive at the import terminal on Thursday.

The South Hook LNG terminal was fully commissioned in 2010 and is among the biggest LNG receiving terminals in Europe. It can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG per year.
