The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive first June cargo of Qatari liquefied natural gas.

The Al Hamla tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cubic metres, is set to dock at South Hook LNG jetty on June 2, according to the port data.

This will be the third shipment delivered to the terminal in five days.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG annually, which is close to 20% of the natural gas needs of the UK.

Qatar Petroleum owns 67.5 percent of South Hook LNG, ExxonMobil 24.15 percent and Total owns the rest.
