Petronet’s Dahej LNG import terminal on India’s west coast is to receive a cargo of the chilled gas from Qatar.

The cargo is being hauled by the 138,700 cbm Raahi LNG carrier, and it is due to dock at the 10 Mtpa terminal on May 30, according to shipping data.

Petronet has recently given green light for further expansion of its LNG terminal in Gujarat to 17.5 million tonne per annum.

The company is already undergoing expansion works at the LNG terminal to boost its capacity to 15 mtpa. The construction works are expected to be complete by November next year.
