Clough‐CH∙IV secure Magnolia LNG contract

LNG Limited’s unit Magnolia LNG said it has selected Clough‐CH∙IV to fulfill the role of owner’s engineer for the EPC phase of the project in Louisiana, USA.

This will include providing technical and project execution support personnel to MLNG as oversight to the KBR‐SK contractor activities as the project moves through detailed design, construction, commissioning and start‐up in
support of delivering LNG from the first of the four planned 2 mtpa trains by the end of 2018, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Magnolia LNG also informed that the company and KBR‐SK joint venture have now agreed to terms and initialled off on the updated EPCC contract including terms and conditions, full scope of work and all supporting contract schedules and attachments.

The Magnolia project comprises the proposed development of an 8 mtpa LNG project on a 115‐acre site, located on an established LNG shipping channel in the Lake Charles District, Louisiana. The project

The project is based on the development of four production trains using LNG Limited’s OSMR LNG process technology.
