Qatar Petroleum to supply LNG to Taiwan’s CPC for 15 years

Qatar Petroleum has signed a 15-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Taiwan’s CPC for the supply of 1.25 million tonnes per annum (mpta) of LNG.

According to the agreement, LNG deliveries should start in January 2022.

It will be delivered to CPC’s receiving LNG terminals.

Since the first LNG delivery in March 2006 to date, Taiwan’s state-owned petroleum, natural gas, and gasoline company CPC Corporation has reportedly received more than 63 million tonnes of LNG from Qatar.
