The survey operations will be conducted using Magseis Fairfield’s MASS node technology.

Work is expected to start in the third quarter of the year and have a duration of just under one month.

Magseis Fairfield did not reveal any details about the project and the client.

“This award is a repeat project using our differentiated modular MASS technology. Importantly, it further adds to our backlog for this technology in the North Sea, and again highlights that our clients continue to execute key OBN seismic projects on their key assets,” said Magseis Fairfield CEO Carel Hooijkaas.

To remind, the seabed seismic company won a 4D OBN monitor survey in the Norwegian North Sea in February for an undisclosed E&P client.

The survey was scheduled to commence late in the first quarter 2021 and last for approximately one month.
